Mission, Purpose, Meaning

Human beings like to manufacture a sense of mission for themselves because it raises their Self-worth and motivates them to aspire higher than where they presently believe themselves to be. Unfortunately, when the human persona feels they have gone astray from their mission they suffer the consequences of the duality of their own creation. It can be seen then, from one point of view, that such a belief can have both positive momentum and negative momentum.

The application of any such mission also tends to be a means to justify your purpose as a being, and your presence upon the earth. It allows your mind to rationalize your contribution to the larger canvas of life. This mentality is a means for which your human persona can create for itself certain values. These values are used as instruments with which you seek to experience your highest and greatest idea about yourself. However, you do not actually have to create a mission for yourself to experience your most magnificent embodiment of that which you are. You have simply to acknowledge the tools in your current possession, as you become aware of them, and implement them to express anything you so choose, in any way, shape or form, for as long as it serves your desire to do so. If this expression is in alignment with that which is True, for You, then you shall experience love and joy forevermore in all you do.

Embody that which is True for You. That is your mission. That is your purpose. No other can tell you what is True for You, you simply have to choose it for yourself, and that which you choose shall always, in all ways, be that which you experience – now. Your learning is never over. Your learning is never complete. For as long as there is something to choose, there is something to learn.

Purpose is something which many human beings seek in their attempt to understand their existence. If I were to give you a bowl of water and place it before you, what would you define its purpose to be? Would it be to drink? Would it be to water the plants? Would it be to wash your hands?

Its purpose would be yours to decide, and you would decide this from whatever perspective you held at that time. You may ask many beings wise in themselves, what is the purpose of death, and each would define its purpose differently from within their own perspective within their own journey.

A purpose is a construct of mind and an extension of personal intent. A purpose only exists for as long as there is an intention of mind that wills its existence to be there. This is to say, there is not an all powerful authoritative being who gets to decide the purpose of all things. All things are given purpose by your own will and intent to interact with it, within the process that it is a part of. All things are a process, death included. How you choose to define yourself within any part of that process, and how you choose to define aspects of that process in time and space, is yours to dictate within your own mind. It is this choosing that determines how the universe unfolds, and how your journey unfolds.

So, what purpose does the bowl of water have?

Why am I here? What is the general meaning of life?

This can be answered using Sparrow’s Star of life. A simplified 5 sided representation of the foundation for life, and the journey of the soul. Each five points of the star representing aspects of purpose, each interconnecting and influencing each other.

thestaroflife

In the heart and nucleus we have the source, life itself in all its expanding magnificence. Within the expanse of life we observe the interweaving pathways that connect directly to our soul structure, as indicated by the blue arrow. The spirit, represented by the red arrow, is that which is closest to the void. The spirit can be seen to have no direct attachments to either the soul or its many pathways. This is because the spirit remains pure and unchanged by the activities within the souls journey. It is the closest to that which is infinite.

To understand the purpose of life, one must understand the purpose of the soul.
The soul is essentially an instrument of consciousness. It is a vehicle of consciousness.
Life itself is consciousness in motion. As the soul moves through the many currents of consciousness it collects and constructs its identity through the process and pathways of life. In general the soul operates upon five main pathways:

Choice.
Discovery.
Expansion.
Creation.
Fulfillment.

Each main pathway forms additional subsequent pathways within the arena of life. Each additional pathway creating new links and connections, spawning individuality and unique character. Let us look at these in more detail.

Choice.

This is the element of free will. This is the vehicle the soul uses to produce desires and aspirations for its Self. It is the nature of thought, identity and movement. It is often said, everything starts with choice.

Discovery.

This is the element of awareness. This is the vehicle the soul uses to produce realization. It is also the vehicle with which to connect, which makes awareness and realization possible.

Expansion.

This is the element of growth. This is the vehicle the soul uses to produce transformation. It is where potentials are unlocked and energy is moved forward. It is also what is known as ascension.

Creation.

This is the element of manifestation. This is the vehicle the soul uses to produce experience. It is also the vehicle with which expression and action is sought. Through the play of creation that which is Self is given forthwith.

Fulfillment.

This is the element of joy. This is the vehicle the soul uses to produce love. Through the joy of love everything is shared by all, and received by all. Love and joy fulfils the soul.

Each one of the aforementioned can be granted as meaning of life. However, unless they are all working in harmony and balance life itself will not be fully understood or appreciated for what it is. When each pathway runs smooth and straight, forging a strong connection with every other aspect, the soul is formed into a beautiful radiant star. The purpose of life therefore, is the birth, growth and fulfilment of your unique, free willed journey of awareness, through this creation called life. You may express and experience this in whatever way you so choose.

We Are Not Here To Learn Lessons

Q: Most of us have been told and tend to believe that we come back many many times until we “learn our lessons” so to speak. This is what I, and many others have read and heard in the last 30 years. But you seem to be saying the opposite if I’ve understood you correctly. . .

Sparrow: “Of course you have; wisdom and comprehension is a process, not an end result. As such, those beliefs served their purpose and can help you better comprehend further expansive concepts.

The Akashic records and halls of information can educate you on everything you want to know, in terms of “lessons”, for their historical accuracy and blunt truth is beyond anything you have on Earth. Why then would you assume the same information could only be obtained by leaving that resource, forgetting everything you knew about yourself, and living a painfully limited point of view on Earth? If your reason for incarnating was to gain learning, then why would you choose to forget everything you had already learned? Should you then reincarnate to repeat this process, you would no longer remember anything you had learned in your last “lesson”, so what would be the point? Illogical, yes?

You are not on Earth to learn lessons; what fun or purpose would that serve for the Prime Creator that already IS everything? Just ask any child what they would rather do; they want to play!

You are here to experience a point of view. What point of view that becomes is whatever persona and identity your awareness gives form to. At this present time, that point of view is this person you identify as being you. At some point later you will choose another point of view by giving form to something else, somewhere else. As for now, stop worrying about achieving status within other points of view (ascensionism), and enjoy the fun of the one you have now. Always follow your greatest joy, and it will lead you to your greatest wisdom.”

“For the benefit of some who did not comprehend my message, I shall put it another way.

Far and near are points of view; male and female are points of view; suffering and happiness are points of view. All incarnations are points of view; they are as much of a lesson as ice is water, and water is steam. These points of perspective can be experienced as a lesson, to explain to your brain how one point of view got to another, as from A to B. However, your spirit is already at C and D, and E and F, and so on. When you are one with your spirit, it is no longer necessary for you to experience Self as a lesson, only as an eternal experience of Self joy. The ultimate state of joy is the state that requires nothing else to exist; it accepts there is only joy, and everything else is an illusion.

As previously stated: Always follow your greatest joy, and it will lead you to your greatest wisdom.”
